Hamid Leaves iShares

According to a well-placed source in the European ETF industry, Nizam Hamid, managing director and head of sales strategy at iShares, has resigned to join competitor Lyxor, where he will be taking up a similar role.

No confirmation was immediately available from either firm.

Hamid joined iShares in 2008 from Deutsche Bank, where he worked for ten years as head of the global portfolio trading and index strategy team.
