Stoxx Expands Dividend Points Index Range

Index provider Stoxx says it’s producing new dividend points calculations for its Europe 600, Europe 600 Supersector and Euro Stoxx Supersector benchmarks.

Stoxx launched its first dividend points series, based on the Euro Stoxx 50 index, in 2008.

Dividend points series measure the ordinary unadjusted gross cash dividends declared and paid by the individual components of each index. The dividend points are calculated at the end of each day and disseminated in real time.

Stoxx’s Euro Stoxx 50 dividend points calculations have been used to underlie futures contracts and ETFs.
